Welcome to the Fourth International Aikido Summer Camp in Lithuania
We are proud to present Fourth International Aikido Summer Camp in Lithuania with Ulf Evenås Shihan 7 Dan. The Camp will take place at Giruliai “Žuvėdra” resort in Klaipėda, Lithuania from 6th to 10th of August 2007 with five full days of practice.
A week of intense training and great time together with one of the highest-ranking Shihans of Takemusu Aikido will be an event to remember.
We believe this will make a perfect opportunity for practitioners of all levels to train together, have a great time, meet old friends and make new friendships. It is our deepest wish to create an environment where all could benefit in a true Aikido spirit.

Giruliai “Žuvėdra” resort
Giruliai is located on a cost of Baltic Sea. Camp will be arranged at “Žuvėdra” resort in Giruliai. It is established in wild spot of nature nearly untouched of human hands surrounded with pinewoods and enframed with the sea. It provides the possibility to train, live, dine and relax at the same place. Being relatively isolated and calm, it is yet 7 kilometers away from Klaipėda, the port city of Lithuania.
Western Lithuania
West coast of Lithuania has to offer 99 kilometers of sandy beaches. Klaipėda, center of Western Lithuania, has a unique connection to Curonian Spit that has been included into Unesco World Heritage list for it’s splendid dunes and forests. In some place being just 2 kilometers in width Spit is captured by Curonian lagoon and Baltic Sea.
Ulf Evenås Shihan 7 Dan Aikido
Ulf Evenås started Takemusu Aikido in 1969. Having become an Uchideshi in Iwama for the first time in 1973, he had been regularly going to Iwama and to Saito Senseis seminars. Ulf Evenås holds the 7 Dan and the highest teaching level of Takemusu Ken and Jo. Saito Sensei had appointed him Shihan and his personal representative. Ulf has been teaching in the whole Europe, Russia, Malaysia and Australia.

Camp is limited up to 60 participants. In order to be included at the participation list, please fill in this registration form

before 15th of May 2007 and pay advance fee of 45 Euro before 1th of June 2007. Rest part must be paid after arrival before the training starts.
Before transferring money please ensure that you will be participating in the Camp. Withdrawing your participation you will be fully refunded advance fee (except banking taxes) if you will inform organizers via e-mail before 1th of July. Otherwise money will not be returned.
Price: 180 Euro (620 Lt) per person (5 days of training, 6 nights accommodation in 4-bedded and 5-bedded rooms and catering 3 times a day).
The Camp will consist of five days of training, four training sessions a day. First class starts on Monday morning. Last class starts on Friday afternoon.
The food will be provided during the five days of training, Monday to Friday. For extra meals, there is a local café.
Bring your bokken and jo with you.
Make sure that you are fully insured for aikido practice in Lithuania.
Arrival: Participants are welcome on 5th of August 2007 from 14.00 p.m.
Departure: On 11th of August 2007 before 12.00 p.m.
